"Soaking" is an integral part of all my work. In fact, I would have to say my work is 80% soaking, 20% drawing. "Soaking", or "Resting in His Presence" has become a way of life - everything flows out of that time spent with Him. These are not times of prayer. They are simply times of receiving, listening. Sometimes we may feel as though it was time wasted, but this is never the case. God always appreciates any time we set apart to just be with Him. Our time is the most precious gift we can give Him and He always honors that. During such times we are often unaware of the company around us, and there is always a "Spiritual Download" whether we feel it or not. "Abiding Presence" is a picture of what happens in the Supernatural realm as we spend time "Soaking" in His presence.
This image is the quintessential "Soaking" image. In fact I received this vision while soaking one evening at our home soaking group. For just a matter of seconds, I saw this angel kneeling over my wife and making a sweeping gesture with his right hand. There seemed to be thousands of tiny stars - miniscule universes falling from his hand, gently floating through the air and coming to rest upon my wife. Although the image lasted only seconds, it will forever live in my spirit. "Abiding Presence" is my poor attempt to capture that supernatural vision.
